This is the last of six Quaker Meeting Houses that were built in Prince Edward County at the end of the 19th century. The building is a simple wood and brick construction in a simple gothic design.

The Meeting House was in use from 1885 to 1966. The building was donated to the town of Wellington, and converted into a heritage museum in 1983. The building has been left in its original condition.

There are displays from the Church and other community events inside.

HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Built in 1885, this simple brick structure was
the first Friends (Quaker) Meeting House to be
erected by the Progressive action after the schism
of 1881. It was used by the Friends until 1966 when
it became the Wellington Community Historical Museum.
