EN: The Burgerkirche (citizen church) is located on the Gräfibiel Hill in the old town of Visp. The age is not precisely known. The crypt dates from the 11th century. In 1220, it was first mentioned as Liebfrauenkirche. In 1260, it was destroyed in an armed conflict and then soon rebuilt. The tower dates from the 14th century. From 1710 to 1730 the church was extended and rebuilt in the Baroque style to become the Epiphany Church. In 1869 and 1973, it was renovated.

DE: Die Burgerkirche befindet sich auf dem Gräfibiel-Hügel in der Altstadt von Visp. Ihr Alter ist nicht genau bekannt. Die Krypta stammt aus dem 11. Jahrhundert. 1220 wurde sie erstmals als Liebfrauenkirche erwähnt. 1260 wurde sie bei kriegerischen Auseinandersetzungen zerstört und neu aufgebaut. Der Turm stammt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. 1710 bis 1730 wurde die Kirche erweitert und im barocken Stil zur Dreikönigskirche umgebaut. 1869 und 1973 wurde sie renoviert.
