Located at the Tulelake National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is a trail that leads up Sheepy Ridge to a lava rock overlook made in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. This overlook provides excellent views of the National Wildlife Refuge below and the general Klamath Basin. The hike up to the overlook is only .3 miles and not very strenuous.
