In 1934, the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) constructed this park. Their work included buildings, hiking trails, an amphitheater and several road bridges. This bridge is Item #21 on the District nomination.

This bridge spans a small stream from the lake on the northeast side of the park. This is a depressed arch concrete poured bridge, faced with native sandstone. The side walls are slightly arched as is the roadbed. The arch spans 15 feet. The length of the bridge is 35 feet. The 18 inch high walls have piers at each end with large capstones.
