This tiny cemetery was once the site of a church called St.Skae dating back to medieval times. Today it houses around a dozen graves, mostly from the communities of Dunninald, Boddin and Usan around three miles south of Montrose on the east coast of Scotland. All of the graves are dated from the 19th century from 1800 to the latest recorded death in 1917. The most intriguing stone though is right next to the cliff edge and records the memory of George James Ramsay who was born in 1859 and died in 1840! The graveyard can be found off the unclassified road between Dunninald and Usan. A gate at the roadside shows a track which heads under the railway line down to the cliff edge.
