This cemetery has been badly vandalized, and this is a "good" example of it. The crown is broken off of the trunk, which is on the ground next to the base. The inscription is:

James H.
Leverett

Born Apr. 9, 1870
Died July 15, 1906

---

Farewell, dear brother,
forever:
There will be a glorious
dawn.
We shall meet to part no
never,
On the resurrection
morn.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
