South of the main Lake Dam at Wintersmith Park, this is a small rock dam consisting of 9 to 12 stepped courses of dry laid flat stone. The construction is slightly curved and allows creek water to spill over into the lower portions of the creek.

At either end of the stone dam are bastion-like structures also made of stone. This dam lies just east of a beautiful hiking trail which encircles the lake. It is shown as Item #12 (structure) on the nomination.
