This dam is Item #8 (structure) on the Historic District nomination. It is located at the southwest corner of the lake, and is a continuation of an earthen dam. It is monolithic concrete and approximately 100 feet long. There is a centered notched spillway. The top of the dam is about 30 feet above the creek bed.

In 1940, the WPA strengthened the dam, constructing a concrete wing wall on the east side and building a foot bridge across the dam. Then, in the 1980's a steel bridge and wall was built to make foot traffic across the dam safer.
