The Foresters Arms in Charlotte Street in an area where demolition of the old Sittingbourne Paper Mill has left a lot of open space. It is an impressive red brick corner building with even more impressive Flint's of Canterbury tiled facade signs. Sadly closed July 2015 and its future as a pub is uncertain.
For the best part of a decade this pub used to be my local 'watering hole'. So sad to see it boarded up. I found some pictures of inside here (
visit link) and apart from a little freshening up that has been done over the years it looks no different to when I was last there in the 80s to 90s.
