"Friendly one bar community pub located in a residential area, which strongly features a darts influence with 4 dart boards available, men's and ladies teams, and many trophies on display. Pool table at rear.
Hosts regular live music, charity events, karaoke etc and is a venue for local functions.
Serves one, changing, national beer such as Spitfire or Doom Bar. and occasionally something more unusual.
Sunday meals are roasts and much sought after, book to ensure a place. Cocktails a house speciality."

The pub sign features an Invicta style white horse rampant.
"The white horse of Kent, or the white horse rampant, is a symbol of Kent, a Principality (formerly the Jutish Kingdom) and county in the South East of the United Kingdom. It is the closest location in the UK to France and Belgium
The figure of the prancing (or rampant in heraldry) white horse can also be referred to as Invicta, which is the motto of Kent."
