The town name is pronounced "nuh-VAY-duh," and these granite slabs were placed in 1974 on each side of the cemetery's two entrances. Only two have writing on them, both at the main gate, and while one provides some history, this one is a memorial, showing a couple standing in front of a church and the sun:
