There has been a pub on this site for the last 400 years. The significance of the bulls head is that the cattle market used to be held on land behind the pub, and had been up until 1969.
The pub is now sadly closed. What the future holds for it is anyones guess - maybe a fast food outlet...... Sittingbourne certainly needs another one.
