Wintersmith Park Historic District lists 2 buildings, 19 structures, 2 objects and one site. The entry gate to the park is one of the contributing structures (#1) and consists of two Native stone battered piers with curving stone walls, flanking Wintersmith Drive into the park. The stones are rough cut and loosely jointed. They stand approximately seven feet high.

One of the piers has a marble plaque inset at the time of construction which reads: "Frances Wintersmith Park / 1934 / Park Board / Leonard A. Braly, Frances Wintersmith, Harry E. Morris, C. E. Cunning.

The second pier has a marble plaque dated 1984 after a park refurbishment.
