A piece of art diguised as a signpost OR a signpost disguised as a piece of art? The Signpost Pole is located at the Wolweg N800 roundabout along the N310 near Stroe.

The artwork was designed in 2013 by Dutch artist Reinier Lagendijk, who likes to combine nature and culture in his designs. The province of Gelderland donated the artwork to the municipality of Stroe as part of the redesign of this junction.
In the original artwork a pine tree was placed inside the curves of the signpost. The static signpost was thus transformed to a dynamic object. It was like the signpost wrapped around the pine tree. Nowadays the pine tree sadly is no longer there, but the strangely formed signpost still is.
