The Letchworth Trail comes very close to this overlook/ drop off. The view from the trail is of a outcropping covered in shale scree. The view straight down reminds me of Chimney Bluffs, but carved from layers of shale instead of sand. If you are brave enough to step out onto the tongue of land, you can get great pictures (without the scrub tree in the way). The view is pretty spectacular even with a small tree obstructing some of the northern view.
