The railway station of Bendord has been abandoned int 1980's. The building is now used by the window-shop 'Fenster-Bahnhof' (Window-railway-station). As a promoting feature they have put a train car in of the building. The car is painted in the colors of the shop and is now used as part of the show-room. The car is of the 3-axle-type which has been build between 1953 and 1959.
