Location of pump: Two Street, between W. Main St. & W. South St., city park, Marthasville
This pump, once the community pump site from the 1830s onward. The current pump over the well seems to be one installed in the 1920s or 1930s.
The iron body of the pump is so rusted the cast names and dates are all but gone.
The dual prongs extending from the pump body use to have a large wood handle bolted between them, now removed.

How to find.:
From Washington Missouri go N. across the Missouri River on MO-47, to Marthasville, turn right on One Street, to the "T: at Main St., turn left one block to city park.
From Warrenton, MO, go S. of MO-47 to W. South St. (across from Motorcycle shop), turn left go about 5 blocks to Two Street.
