EN: This limestone cross stands in northeastern Ettingen at the intersection of Eigenweg and Hochfeldweg.
The relatively small Jesus figurine is made of black painted metal and under a small canopy. At the top, the letters INRI are engraved and on the side beams the year 1844. The cross looks like new; it must have been fully cleaned just recently.
DE: Dieses Kalksteinkreuz steht im Nordosten von Ettingen an der Kreuzung von Eigenweg und Hochfeldweg.
Die relativ kleine Jesus-Figur ist aus schwarz lackiertem Metall und unter einem kleinen Schutzdach. An der Spitze sind die Buchstaben INRI eingraviert und an den Seitenarmen die Jahreszahl 1844. Das Kreuz sieht aus wie neu; es muss kürzlich umfassend gereingt worden sein.
