Born September 22, 1869, Edwin Ambrose passed away 100 years and 2 days later, on September 24, 1969.

Edwin Ambrose is buried in the cemetery of St Mark's Anglican Church in Mill Cove, NS. In a beautiful setting, the church and cemetery overlook St. Margaret's Bay, a scant few metres away. Edwin Ambrose is buried in the rear of the cemetery, just south of the northwest corner. Though there were, and are, many Verges in the general area, we have found no mention of Edwin Ambrose beyond his inclusion in this cemetery.

According to their marriage registration on novascotiagenealogy.com, Edwin Ambrose Verge (fisherman, widower, son of William George Verge and Charlotte Elizabeth Chandler) married Pauline Amy Boutilier (widow, daughter of Elyard Sidney Hubley and Bessie Almira Jollymore) in 1923.
