Along Bay St, this part of Waterfront Park has an old anchor with chain on display. One can tell immediately this anchor has done its duty over time.

One might imagine it held fast the ship for a pirate to off load his booty. Possibly, secured another ship over a dive site while scuba divers looked for treasure on ocean floor. A million stories might be told to explain the journey this anchor has travelled to wind up as an ornament in the park
