Here you are in the nature reserve Boswachterij Gieten.
It originated from job creation in 1922 and is now known for its cobbled roads and beech avenues, dolmens and beautiful villages.
Originally, the area of heathland, but it is very altered by human influence and became a forest with both deciduous and coniferous trees. You can see that the area is built by people, by the rectangular shapes of the landscape.
