With the realization of the adjacent areas Torenveen-Bonner Fold the watercourse of the Hunze is restored and immersed in a natural landscape. This stretch of the Hunze thus has a much more natural appearance and got a much improved acceleration ability for fish. The first beavers have meanwhile managed to colonize this new area.
A circular walk on the quays is possible all year round. Outside the breeding season (15 March - 15 June) can be accessed freely throughout the area. A range of bike paths through the area. The pretty meandering stream with a good population IDE provides an attractive area for fly fishermen.
The area is easy to explore by canoe.
