The Texas Trail of Fame website (see link) has a depiction of Mr. Tibbs, as well as this short biography:
American cowboy, rodeo performer and actor. He held the "World All-Around Rodeo Champion" title twice in 1951 and 1955. He also won in 1949, 1951-1954 and 1959, the world saddle bronc riding championship and in 1951 world bareback bronc riding championship. Casey appeared on television and in 15 movies and performed stunts in eight movies (uncredited) and finally received credit in one movie for stunt coordination as well as acting as director and producer of two movies. He was one of the founders of the Rodeo Cowboys Association.
