Mitzi Lucas Riley has performed in rodeos all of her life. She is the daughter of Tad Lucas, "Rodeo’s First Lady." Mitzi sampled rodeo life at the tender age of 5 months. She is famous for her trick riding as part of the mother-daughter team with Tad Lucas. In 1990 she established the Tad Lucas Memorial Award recognizing women who have advanced the sport of rodeo. She is honored in the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame.
