About Letov Š-328
The Letov Š-28 (
visit link) was a Czechoslovak single-engined, two-seat reconnaissance aircraft. It was manufactured by Letov Kbely in a number of versions with different powerplants. Most important version was Š-328, which was produced in relatively high quantities (412 planes produced).
About crash
CZ: Dne 9.cervna 1938 zahynuli pri výcviku na obranu vlasti príslušníci 7.letky Leteckého pluku 2 z Brna, pilot cetar Alois Talárek, svobodník aspirant Josef Jankových. Pri strelbe na vlecný terc se dostali do vývrtky, kterou se pilotovi nepodarilo vybrat a oba tak v troskách letounu nedaleko obce Prace zahynuli.
EN: On June 9, 1938 perished during training on homeland defense members of 7. squadron Aviation Regiment 2 in Brno, pilot Sergeant Alois Talarek, and aspirant Joseph Jankových. When shooting at a target towed get into a tailspin, which the pilot did not choose and so both in the wreckage near the village Prace perished.
