James P. Rich's tree stump WOW marker stands on four horizontal logs and has the WOW seal at the top. The inscription is engraved on a smooth inset and reads:

Died
June 6, 1901Erected by the Woodmen
of the World
On the back side of the tree stump, James' wife's inscription has been added later. It reads:

A. Rich
Born
Dec. 11, 1861
Died
July 21, 1941
