The sign is hung from the south east face of the pub and overhangs Stamford Street. The sign is simple in design and does not show the name of the pub. It does show a bear sat on the ground with its hind legs stretched out in front of it and between its front paws it is holding a barrel. A spigot on the barrel is open and the liquid, within, is flowing down the bear's throat.
