2016 Swimming Season:
5/28/16 - 6/18/16, weekends/holidays only, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
6/19/16 - 9/5/16, daily, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Vehicle Entrance Fee for cars is $5, this includes swimming.
There is a lifeguard and ropes marking the swimming area. Cars, dogs and nudes are not welcome on the beach. There is a net for volleyball, which was being played while we were there. There are no cabanas, but there is a building for the lifeguards where you can get first aid and rent boats. The boats are by the beach, near the large parking lot. Fishing is allowed in the lake, but not within the roped off swimming area. "The lake is regularly stocked with trout, and birdwatchers can spot as many as 103 species of birds."
This is a state park complete with toilets. The park has areas for camping and trails for hiking. The Finger Lakes Trail goes by the lake.
