St Andrew's Anglican Church was built in 1856 of rendered brick with a shingle roof , later replaced with corrugated iron, is the oldest church still standing in Victoria although the last service was in 1946. The church was used as the first school in Murghebuloc until the state school was constructed in 1875.
The old church is located in a farmers paddock on the top of a hill and is not approachable, at one stage there was timber porch at the front which has been removed, the door and windows are now covered with sheet metal.
