On Johnson Ave just before its intersection with O'Neil Ave you will find a large boulder with a tablet marking the last battle.

Yorktown was the last major battle of the Revolution. Johnstown was the last battle. Six days after the war ended at Yorktown, a local militia beat back a band of British raiders. A dozen were killed on both sides. Marking the spot is a big rock with a plaque.
