Located in the Mesa City Cemetery, this grave marker for Lola Knowles is typical of the Woodmen of the World. It resembles a wooden stump and is of concrete. Approximately 5 feet tall, it is mounted on a base of concrete designed as a brick base. Carved vines come from under the base and wind up the stump. At midpoint in the stump is the name Lola Knowles. Below that are the dates May 10, 1891 and Nov. 4, 1918. Above the commemorative inscription is a circle and within the circle are the words In Memoriam Woodmen Circle. In the center of the circle is the emblem of the group.
