The park got a $1.8 million makeover in 2014. New basketball court, 4 new tennis courts, new playground equipment, a "sprayground" water park, a soccer field, covered picnic tables and new benches. Even the parking area on 36th St got renewed. The fountain got cleaned and refurbished.
