The churchyard is well kept and has a seperate extension across the road. Many old large headstones are now laid flat, and there is a medieval stone coffin against the church wall adjacent to a door. This coffin is GradeII listed.
A small plot has been set aside for the the internment of cremated ashes with small flat name stones, flowers etc.
One of the older grave headstones reads-
"Affectionate Remembrance of ALICE; the beloved daughter of CHARLES and MARY ANN NETTLESHIP: of Harlington: who departed this life April 6th 1871: aged 10 years.
Also of
GEORGE LAWSON NETTLESHIP: only & dearly loved son of the above and for some years a member of the parish church choir; who was accidently killed in the discharge of his duty at Hexthorpe on the 23rd March 1882; aged 15 years.
"Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.""
Church is GradeI listed and dates from about 1150-
