A monument to the cowboys (and their wonderful cutting horses) of Texas and the Southwest.
The statue is of a cowboy sitting tall and straight in the saddle. He is wearing a Stetson and chaps and riding his horse at a walk across some rocks with cactus growing out of it. Under his right leg is a scabbard with a rifle in it. On top of the rifle a coiled lariat hangs. Behind the saddle is a bedroll.
