This station was part of the rail line Guise - Hirson, officially called line Flavigny-le-Grand à Ohis - Neuve-Maison, and was built to connect the two cities of the department of Aisne.
It was owned by the "Compagnie des chemins de fer du Nord" and was operational between 1910 and 1978.
