"Der Zunftbrunnen auf dem Marktplatz Ahrweiler stammt aus dem Jahr 1603. Anlässlich des 40-jährigens Bestehens der Stadt Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler im Jahr 2010 ließt der Heimatverein "Alt-Ahrweiler" e.V. den Brunnen, der zuvor nur mit einem gemauerten Bruchsteinring versehen war, mit einem schmiedeeisernen Aufbau krönen. Auf diesem Aufbau sind die Zünfte mit gestifteten farbigen Wappen verewigt. Die Stadt steuerte eine Beleuchtungsanlage und Blumenschmuck bei."
