Nach der Renovierung 2009 wurden zwei Regale, ein Eckregal, Stühle und ein Schrank neu angeschafft.
Im Jahr 2010 wurde die Bücherei von mehr als 10.000 Mal von Lesern besucht. Mit 31.000 entliehenen Medien gab es in etwa so viele Entleihen wie im Jahr zuvor. 2010 war die Bücherei 382 Stunden lang geöffnet. Der Bestand betrug am Ende des Jahres 2010 insgesamt 8781 Medieneinheiten - davon 6699 Printmedien sowie 2082 Non-Book-Medien, also Kassetten, Hörbücher und DVDs. 1201 Medien wurden neu eingestellt, 1054 Medien wurden ausgesondert. Eingetragene Leser zählt die Bücherei 2026, aktive Nutzer 751, darunter 216 unter 14 Jahren. Im Jahr 2010 gab es 139 Neuanmeldungen. Auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten waren die 13 Mitarbeiter der KÖB im Jahr 2010 aktiv: Im Januar wurden die Lesewürmer ausgezeichnet, im März fanden drei Büchereiführungen für Erstklässler statt. Außerdem führte die Bücherei mit dem Kindergärten St. Laurentius und Calvarienberg die Aktion „Ich bin Bibfit“ durch. Dabei lernten 45 Vorschulkinder an acht Vormittagen die Bücherei kennen. Im Rahmen der Lesetournee des Bistums Trier war im Juni der Eifelschriftsteller Ralf Kramp zu Gast. Eine Lesung in der Zehntscheuer Ahrweiler war sehr gut besucht. Der Bücherflohmarkt im Sommer und der Glühweinstand zu St. Martin sind zwei feste Termine im Jahresverlauf. Zusammen mit den Zweitklässlern der Grundschule Ahrweiler beteiligte sich die KÖB im Dezember 2010 an den „Adventskalendergeschichten“.
