It is common in rural Newfoundland for burials to be marked by a bare flag stone rather than an expensive monument. Add plain wooden markers to bare stones and it is difficult to determine the number of graves in such cemeteries.
The church is surrounded by a beautiful cemetery, landscaped by God. The building dates from 1880. Due to small attendance, the church will be deconsecrated in 2016.
