St George's was built in the Early English Gothic style and is timber walled and iron roofed. The Church was dedicated on July 3rd 1912 by Archbishop of Melbourne, Henry Lowther Clarke. Electricity was first
connected to the church in 1987 , the Church's 75th anniversary.
