DE: Der Turnersee ist ein Badesee in der Gemeinde St. Kanzian im Südosten Kärntens.
Der See liegt wie der Gösselsdorfer See auf der Rückersdorfer Platte. Er ist der Überrest eines nacheiszeitlichen Sees von etwa 9 km² Fläche. Neben dem Turnersee mit heute 44 ha Fläche ist von diesem See nur noch der Sablatnigteich als offene Wasserfläche erhalten.
Auf den Verlandungsflächen befinden sich breite Schilfbestände sowie Kalkflachmoore, letztere mit Mehlprimel, Rosmarin-Weide (Salix repens subsp. rosmarinifolia), Fieberklee und Sumpf-Stendelwurz. Im See wachsen See- und Teichrosen.
Im See kommen zehn Fischarten vor, darunter Schleie, Hecht, Karpfen, Barsch und Wels. Er beheimatet auch einen Edelkrebsbestand. Auf den Sumpfflächen kommen Kiebitz, Schwarzkehlchen und Schafstelze vor.
Rund um den See befinden sich sieben Badestellen, unter anderem von zwei verschiedenen Campingplätzen und einigen Pensionen.

DE : The Turnersee is a lake in the municipality of St. Kanzian in the southeast of Carinthia .
The lake is like the Gösselsdorfer on Rückersdorfer plate . It is the remnant of a glacial lake of about 9 km² . In addition to the Turnersee today 44 hectares is from this lake only the Sablatnigteich obtained as open water .
On the silting areas to wide reed beds and Kalkflachmoore , the latter with Mehlprimel , rosemary willow are ( Salix repens subsp . Rosmarinifolia ) bogbean and Marsh Helleborine . In the lake lake and water lilies grow .
In the lake ten types of fish , including tench, pike , carp , perch and catfish . It is also home to a noble crayfish stock . On the bottom surfaces lapwing , Stonechat and Wagtail occur .
Around the lake there are seven swimming areas , including two different campsites and some hostels.
