Im Jahre 1908 wurde der Lufthammer, Patent Beche,in Betrieb genommen. Mit diesem Hammer wurden hochwertige Schmiedestücke gefertigt.
Ein Elektromotor trieb über Transmissionsriemen einen Druckkolben an, wobei über eine Schwungscheibe die Luft im Druckzylinder kompremiert wurde.
Die Luft wurde dabei so stark kompremiert das der "Bär", der eigentliche Hammer mit großer Wucht auf das Schmiedestück schlug
