From the lookout is a view the islands – Breaksea (with the lighthouse) and the smaller Seal Rock while to the right you can see the old Albany whaling station,during the months of August to early October Humpback or Southern Right whales can be seen breaching and playing in these waters.From the lookout a trail meanders down to the beach and the wreck of the Elvie.
