Der Bahnhof Dessau Süd gehört zu den Kulturdenkmälern der Stadt Dessau und zeugt von der Industriegeschichte der Stadt.
Er steht am Rande des so genannten Östreich Viertels am ehemaligem Reichsbahnausbesserungswerkes (RAW).
Das RAW ist heute privatisiert, und repariert Züge im Auftrag der Deutschen Bahn.

The Dessau Süd Bahnhof is one of the cultural monuments in the city of Dessau and testifies to the industrial history of the city.
It stands on the edge of the so-called Östreich district on former Reichsbahn repair factory (RAW).
The RAW is privatized today, and repaired trains on behalf of Deutsche Bahn.
