The Evangeline shelter sits on private property along the Bristol Hills Trail, a branch of the Finger Lakes Trail, and hikers are welcome to stay overnight. The outhouse accompanying this shelter is a delight!

It's a single seater, and a bit crowded with an ash bucket on the floor on one side and a plastic bin holding fresh supplies on the other, but perfectly functional.
