One of several millstones that have been permanently embedded in the sidewalk around City Park in Hagerstown. In 1916, when City Park was being built, one of the proposals was to make a millstone circle at the park's main entrance using stones from Washington County's historic mills. Today there are 11 millstones in total, each with an identifying marker.
This millstone is one of two from the Manor Mill, which was in operation in Washington County around 1795.
