EN: This old bell is on display next to the steeple of Wölflinswil.
The bell was cast in 1665 in Rheinfelden. It bears several inscriptions with the names of the then parish priest and other church dignitaries in Wölflinswil. This and three other bells replaced probably older ones that have been documented in the 16th century and had become victims of the Thirty Years' War.
The bells were, although with some defects, in use until the renovation in 1971.
DE: Diese alte Glocke ist neben dem Kirchturm von Wölflinswil ausgestellt.
Die Glocke wurde 1665 in Rheinfelden gegossen. Sie trägt verschiedene Inschriften mit den Namen der damaligen Pfarrer und anderer kirchlicher Würdenträger in Wölflinswil. Diese und drei andere Glocken ersetzten vermutlich ältere, die schon im 16. Jahrhundert dokumentiert wurden und dem Dreissigjährigen Krieg zum Opfer gefallen waren.
Die Glocken waren, obwohl mit einigen Defekten behaftet, bis zur Renovation 1971 im Einsatz.
