On each side of the pedestal of this sculpture a short quotation from the Bible is etched. The one highlighted for this Waymark is from Mark 1-6:
"He ate locusts and wild honey." which is actually only part of the verse which reads in whole: "John wore clothing made of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
