"This building has two stories and a stucco finish. A stepped parapet with a slightly protruding cornice caps the front elevation. Below the cornice "1930" and "John Strohm Building" appear in raised letters. Two three-part windows take up most of the facade's second story. The side panels of each window are four-over-four; the center panel is sixover-one. A wide guyed awning, which acts as a signboard, tops the storefront. Below it are a glass-paneled double door and flanking display windows. All have wood architraves. Below the windows is a ceramic tile kickplate with diamond-shaped decoration. The awning may originally have been thinner, but otherwise no alterations are apparent. The building contributes to the historic character of the district." (visit link)
