In Hubbard Township, Ohio.
Can be accessed from oil and gas roads just off of the top Vanness Avenue.
The sinkhole measures approximately 36" deep and is over 5' in diameter.
Coal mining was done back in this area a long time ago and somebody said that this could be the ground sinking into a shaft?
The locals say it's been there for over 50 years.
Nobody can say for sure what it is other than it is a sinkhole.
Scenic hike. *Geocaching would rate it high for terrain, poisonous, plants and bugs.
This is a hiking and hunting area. *Wear orange during hunting season.
Please be respectful of the area.
