The former Coogee Post Office was constructed in the Federation Free Classical style in 1928, the single-storey structure was built using coursed smooth faced limestone with brick quoins. It has a symmetrical facade with two windows situated on either side of the front entrance door.
The Post Office operated from 1928 until 1966,the building faced demolition after being purchased by Department of Main Roads in 1967, to make way for a high capacity road which later failed to materialise. the building was abandoned and neglected and deteriorated until it was decided to renovate it in 2015 and lease it out
